One language sets you in a corridor for life. Two languages open every door along the way.

– Frank Smith

We specialise in providing English Enrichment lessons to young learners. Give your children a head start in learning the English language and watch them grow.

Early years in children are a time of curiosity, discovery and learning. They achieve this by engaging in fun educational activities.

Children can choose a book from our library at the end of every lesson. Through using this real book approach, we aim to promote literacy and the love for reading.

Our small teacher to child ratio, allows us to truly get to know your child. This allows us to tailor the class to teach them in a way they can learn best.

Our specialist teachers will warmly welcome every student into their class. They help the students to engage in team-building and friendly activities.

Our method allows parents to also participate, engaging with their children and spending quality time together.

Our Teachers

Michelle is a warm and caring person. Originally from South Africa, Michelle is living in The Netherlands and loves working with children.

Jake is an energetic English teacher and a native speaker who has settled in the Netherlands. Passionate about teaching, and has travelled the world teaching English in numerous places.

My 10 year old daughter had private lessons with Michelle during a period of 4 months. Although she is raised bilingual her strongest language is Dutch. Languages have and will always be a problem for her due to severe dyslexia. The end of last year we made the decision to move to the UK and wanted to give her a good start at an English school. We decided to give her private lessons twice a week with the means to improve her ability to read and write. She has learned so much over this period and will start in her new school in Nailsea with a lot more confidence than before.
Michelle was very helpful and kind and Sophia went to her lessons with joy. The material she used was at the right level with enough challenge to make good progress. She also used “ that reading thing” which works really well for pupils with dyslexia. I can recommend Raising English for everybody who would like to improve their English, no matter the level they start with.

If you talk to a man in a language he understands, that goes to his head. If you talk to him in his own language, that goes to his heart.
